About us
Vlinderdoll is a family ragdoll cattery registered at The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA). It is located in Limburg, in the south of Netherlands.
We adopted our first ragdoll also our first cat Nabi in 2019. Ever since then, we fell in love with this amazingly beautiful, affectionate and intelligent Ragdoll breed. Since 2021, we started a care farm for mentally disabled people, and we would like to introduce ragdolls to more people as sweet companions.
(PS. Nabi's pronunciation means "butterfly" in Korean where I lived for five years, and that's how we came up with our cattery name Vlinderdoll)
I completed courses such as <Pawpeds G1>, <Pawpeds G2>and <Complete guide to breeding pedigree cats> by Cat Breeder Sensei to systematically and thoroughly learn about cat health, behaviors, care, genetics and breeding.

Our vision
We are committed to breed and provide our adopters with healthy, sweet, loving, affectionate pedigree ragdolls that can bring emotional comfort to you.

All our breeding cats are carefully selected and DNA tested for their genetics, and are tested negative for HCM/ PKD.

We provide our cats with nutritious food and supplement for them to have strong immune system.

All our kittens have good temperament and beautiful blue eyes from their parents.

We provide all our cats a clean and loving environment. We have a variety of facilities to fulfil their natural instincts.

We make sure that each cat receives much love, hugs, attention, play, interaction and socialization. Our cats are well socialized and used to baby, children and all kinds of noise such as vacuum cleaner, tv, and traffic in a house.

"Ik heb sinds ruim 4 maanden een prachtige en enorm lieve Ragdoll kater ( Chico ) via de " Cattery Vlinderdoll " gekocht en ben zeer tevreden over alles. De kittens groeien op in huis, krijgen alle aandacht, een goede veilige en hygiënische omgeving en worden goed gesocialiseerd met andere huisdieren, geluiden in huis enz.
Uiteraard krijgen de kittens alle benodigde vaccinaties en overige checks die nodig zijn, chip, paspoort en stamboom.
Daarnaast zijn ze professioneel, eerlijk, betrouwbaar en erg vriendelijk. Wat ook erg prettig is de WhatsApp groep, zodat ik ook regelmatig foto's/ video's zie van zijn broertjes en zusje.

"Ik heb een maand geleden mijn kitten opgehaald bij deze cattery. Ik kan deze cattery zwaar aanbevelen! Het koppel wat de cattery runt heeft aan alles wat ik kon merken heel veel liefde voor hun katten. De katten waren goed verzorgd en prachtig om te zien. "Yesterday we picked up our little Nala. What a sweet, well socialized affectionate little girl. She jumped in the carrier, she slept all her car ride on her back, while we were petting her tummy. At home she started exploring pretty much right away. Soon enough she started playing with us, following us around and by the end of the evening she was walking on our lap, petting us with her head, laying on our lap and purring loudly.
I was following Vlinderdoll on their social channels for a while and I knew they pay a lot of attention in socializing the kittens, but I couldn’t imagine the extend of it. Since the first contact the communication has been clear, quick and pleasant. We were able to visit the Cattery, see the parents and grandparents of our kitten and spend time. Suwen also helped us picking up the kitten that would fit our family the most in terms of character. Suwen also made the waiting more bearable by sending us frequent pictures and videos of our girl.
Another thing I like is that Suwen gives you the option to adopt your kitten sterilized or sterilize the kitten later. For people that rather have the sterilization done when the kitten is older it is a great option. For now, we are enjoying our little bundle of joy, but if we ever decide to have one more, we know just the right address."

"Wij hebben een ontzettend fijne ervaring gehad met deze cattery. Vanaf het eerste contact was de fokker zeer vriendelijk, betrokken en altijd beschikbaar om vragen te beantwoorden en advies te geven, ook nadat onze kitten bij ons thuis was gekomen. De cattery is prachtig en brandschoon, en je merkt aan alles hoeveel zorg en aandacht er wordt besteed aan de kittens. Ze zijn uitstekend gesocialiseerd, ontspannen, nieuwsgierig en gewend aan huiselijke geluiden en contact. Wij hebben altijd honden gehad en ik beschouwde mezelf echt als een “hondenmens”. Onze kinderen wilden echter heel graag een kat, en na goed overleg en veel vragen aan de fokker hebben we die stap gezet. Dankzij de duidelijke uitleg en begeleiding voelde dat vanaf het begin vertrouwd. En ik moet eerlijk zeggen: ik ben volledig om. Ik kan deze fokker van harte aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een gezonde, goed gesocialiseerde en liefdevol grootgebrachte kitten.

We had a wonderful experience with this cattery. From the very first contact, the breeder was incredibly kind, supportive and always available to answer questions and give advice, even after our kitten had come home. The cattery is beautiful and spotless, and it is clear how much care and attention is given to the kittens. They are exceptionally well socialised, relaxed, curious and used to everyday household sounds and interaction. We have always had dogs and I truly considered myself a “dog person.” However, our children really wanted a cat. After many questions and thoughtful conversations with the breeder, we decided to take the step. Thanks to her clear guidance and openness, we felt confident and supported from the very beginning. And I have to admit, I am completely won over. This breed, and especially our beautiful kitten, is gentle, affectionate and wonderfully social.
